A key part of our work is placing animals that cannot be re-released for whatever reason into their permanent homes. Often this applies to young kittens, but we also have adult cats we prefer to rehome, too.
LOCAL ADOPTION
Most homes we visit will be approved for a new cat or kitten, but we like to make sure.
If you live locally to our clinics, we will visit your home and make sure that the environment is suitable. Busy roads, high balconies, young children in the home and many other things may make a cat uncomfortable and stressed or just be downright dangerous.
We may ask you to visit our premises regularly for a few weeks to familiarise the cat with your appearance and smell, so that when they do eventually come to live with you, there is something they recognise.
Once the animal is at your home, we may also ask to come along and see how well it has settled.
