The animal’s general health is checked and any issues such as ear mites, eye infections or mouth problems are noted and dealt with by the vets. Any wounds sustained, whether from other animals or through accidents, are also treated. Where the treatment necessitates an overnight stay the animal is housed in a proper hospital cage and any medication is administered in accordance with veterinary instructions. However this is purely for animals who have passed through out clinics. VOCAL is not a general animal hospital and veterinary emergencies outside of our clinics should be taken to the regular veterinary surgeries around the town.
